I'm Lisa Johnson, I’m a business strategist who specialises in strategy and online business models.
When I first started to look into joining a mastermind several years ago now, I didn’t really understand the appeal. Of course it’s great to have a network of people who you can chat business to, go on nice retreats with and learn a thing or two from, but a part of me still had the feeling that it was just an expensive group programme.
But I enrolled and I learnt and I found the mastermind model to be the perfect environment in which to grow, powered by peer-to-peer mentoring and expert facilitation.
I came to realise that, when done properly, the process of a well structured mastermind can be revolutionary.
Despite this realisation, I couldn’t find the perfect fit for me.
I wanted something that didn’t exist. So I created Destination Inspiration to fill this gap.

What is a mastermind? It's just a group coaching programme right?
Defined by Napolean Hill as "The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony", a mastermind is about as far from a group programme as you can get. In a group programme, you come together to learn from the programme coordinator in a singular way - meaning that the focus is on the self.
In a mastermind, the focus is on the group and how together you can problem solve, elevate and grow. There is a facilitator or facilitation team who will aid you on this journey, however in the main it is up to the participants to make the mastermind as magical as it can be from giving more than you take, collaborating and referring when you can, and bring your open and honest self to every session. -
How much money can I make from joining a mastermind?
Honestly? The motivation behind joining a mastermind should not be about your eventual turnover. Whilst many previous partipants have seen a leap in revenue from being a part of a community like this, it is not and should never be your main goal.
As a team, we want to help you scale your business, and that does involve making tough decisions about the direction you are going in and the changes you might need to make - we cannot promise you that you will make money as a result of being in either of these masterminds and want to be totally clear that for us, it is much more important that you grow holistically, and not just at the bottom line.

I am not based in the U.K. Will this hamper my progress?
Around 1/3 of past Destination Inspiration clients have been from overseas, in the United States, Canada, South Africa and The Netherlands. All of the online events are scheduled to accommodate the most participants so it will depend somewhat on who is part of the group as to when the calls take place, but we will always make sure to make it work as well as we can.
As you will know from seeing this page, there is some travel involved in both of the masterminds, be it the UK, US or even further afield.
If you choose to join the mastermind and are unable to travel to the location of the retreat we will not be replacing the trip with another option.
